Traffic Police Rural Kashmir issues advisory for 2nd Saffar, 7th of August, 2024

Srinagar  : Traffic Police Rural Kashmir under the guidance of Ravinder Pal Singh JKPS SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir, issued an advisory for 2nd Saffar procession.

In view of religious procession of 2nd Saffar, from Kral- Dangarpora Magam to Markazi Imam Bargah Yagipora Magam, the movement of vehicular traffic along Srinagar-Gulmarg road in Magam area shall remain affected, as such motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel on said road.

However, during procession vehicular traffic shall be diverted on different routes. During the procession Beerwah bound traffic coming from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama Chowk via Batapora- Roshanabad- SK Pora-Radbugh-Beerwah.

Meanwhile Gulmarg-Tangmarg-Kunzar bound traffic from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama Chowk via Nooripora-Archinderhama-Gund Khawja Qasim- Kogamdara-Nowlari Lalpora-Magloora.

At the same time Srinagar bound heavy vehicles from Tangmarg-Gulmarg- Kunzar shall be diverted at Mangloora vai Lalpora- Mamoosa- Shirpora-Zaingam (National Highway). During the procession Srinagar bound light vehicles from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichloora via Kralpora Magam- Ahmadpora-Kongamdara- Singhpora (NHW). Only one way traffic will be allowed on this route. Beerwah bound traffic from Tangmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichloora via Goigam-Budram-Beerwah.

Meanwhile Srinagar bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Watamagam Crossing via Watamagam- PathiKanihama- Batapora- Bonkanihama. (Only one way traffic will be allowed on this route from Watamgagam crossing upto Batapora Chowk.

During the procession Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Budran Crossing via Budran-Goigam-Chichloora.
