1000 more bottles of illegal liqour seized at Udhampur. District Police arrests another Bottleggger.

District Police Udhampur arrested one more bootlegger and recovered another huge quantity of illicit liquor from him.

Acting promptly upon the specific information generated by the Police team of PS Chenani regarding the deal of illicit liquor, A team of PS Chenani led by its SHO in collaboration with FST team raided the suspected location (rented room) of one person namely Sarjan S/O Tej Narayan R/O Sita Mari, A/P Chenani and recovered 1000 bottles of illicit liquor from his room. The said bottlegger has been arrested on spot.

In this regard, another case FIR No. 156/2024 u/s 48 (a)Excise Act stands registered in Police Station Chenani and investigation taken up.
