Iranian Islamic Architecture Must Be Heeded

IRAN – “Having a good cultural, spiritual and social connection in all planning and work should be strengthened and paid attention to.” Ayatollah Arafi added.

Ayatollah Alireza Arafi made some remarks during the meeting with Dr. Saghaian Nejad, the mayor of Qom, which was held in the office of the director of seminaries in Qom on Sunday, February 26 and said,” According to Islamic logic, the system of worship is intertwined with the system of social communication, and it is rare to distinguish between the system of worship i.e., relationship with God and social service.”

He added,” The system of worship in Islam has always included a relationship with society and service to the people, so all the social services we do are intertwined with a divine approach and are subject to divine reward.”

Continuing his words, Ayatollah Arafi said in recommendations to serve Qom as well as possible in the municipality,” a good approach has been planned in the past periods, and it should continue with coherence and strength to bear results.”

“Having a good cultural, spiritual and social connection in all planning and work should be strengthened and paid attention to.” He added.

Criticizing the lack of attention paid to Iranian Islamic architecture, the head of Iran’s seminaries noted,” The Islamic Iranian approach to urban planning and architecture must be heeded, and it must be said that the seminaries and universities are deficient in this regard.”

In his next recommendation, Ayatollah Arafi emphasized,” One should try to use new tools and artificial intelligence to serve the people, respecting all its aspects.”
