Mock drill conducted at CHC Sankoo for Covid-19 preparedness
CITY REPORTER KARGIL, DEC 27, 2022: Like other parts of the country, a mock was conducted today at CHC Sankoo to check the preparedness and resources to deal with Covid-19.
The mock drill was conducted in presence of Block Medical Officer, CHC, Sankoo, Dr Ghulam Hussain, Dr Imtiyaz Ali Surgeon Specialist and all paramedics.
The exercise was aimed to have better preparedness with regard to required resources for Covid-19 management and to address deficiencies in advance.
During the mock drill, resources available in the CHC Hospital Sankoo to fight COVID-19 were assessed by the BMO and his team including infrastructure readiness, with a special focus on oxygen plants, ventilators, logistics and human resources.
