Leh: A delegation from Lingshed led by Sarpanch Dorjey Namgyal called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur, at Raj Niwas today.
Sarpanch, Lingshed, raised several issues related to the Panchayat halqa, viz. permission for carrying out administrative activities of Community Development (CD) Block of Singge-Lalok from Lingshed instead of Khaltsi; early completion of the Padum-Nimoo-Darcha road via Lingshed to improve connectivity; opening of a branch of a leading bank at Lingshed; build infrastructure for Government High School and the hostel at Lingshed; renovation and blacktopping of the existing motorable road from Sumdha to Lingshed, etc
