AIR Kargil Celebrated 74th Republic Day

In Ladakh, the 74th Republic Day was celebrated at all the Centers of All India Radio Kargil and HOO Er RK Parasar Unfurled the National Flag at AIR Headquarters at Baroo, during which all the officials, Family Members, and more than 200 children including inmates of Bal Ashram participated.

On this occasion interacting with the employees and the children, Er Parashar said for a better future and a well built nation which was the dream of those who fought for this republic, we should all work hard for the holistic development of the Nation.

He further said that All India Radio is here in this frontier district to serve the public for which all the members of the society should help in to provide the best service whether it is Programme Production, News, or quality of the service.

The National Flag was also unfurled at HPT Kurbathang, AIR Drass, Tai Suru, Padum and Hombotingla FM Station where the employees celebrated Republic Day despite the Bone Chilling Cold temperature and Snow..

Team of AIR also recorded the Republic Day Celebration in the Border District at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium where the Chief Guest CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan Unfurled the National Flag and Addressed the Nation.

A special Radio Report of the Celebration was aired from AIR Kargil at 5.30 Pm and coverage of the same in the Two Purgi News at 5.25pm and 7.30 pm as well as in will be given proper coverage in New Reel Programme Kargil Namah at 9.30 Pm on Friday.

The Station also successfully relayed the President Speech and broadcasted its Regional Version in Purgi as well as relayed the LG Ladakhs Message.
