Raisi felicitates Islamic world on birth anniversary of Holy Prophet

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has sent separate messages to leaders of Islamic countries, extending his felicitations to them and the Islamic world on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The Iranian president emphasized that the invaluable life and ethical virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) have always been a guiding light for humanity and served as the most prominent model leading individuals towards divine proximity.

“Islam is a religion of freedom and equality, and the Holy Quran, the book of mercy, wisdom, and divine words. Insulting the heavenly Quran as the miracle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is an insult to humanity, freedom, values, and spirituality,” President Raisi noted.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns such hateful and malicious actions that are taking place in some parts of the world against Islam, hurting the feelings of Muslims worldwide,” he concluded.

The president also expressed hope that this blessed occasion, coupled with reliance on the Holy Quran and the valuable tradition of the revered Prophet of Islam, will help strengthen unity among Muslim nations.
