Islamic Governments Should Stop Normalizing Ties with Israel

IRAN – The Head of Iran’s Seminary said,” Islamic governments are expected to abandon the process of normalizing relations with the occupying regime and take a transparent position in political discussions. The position of the Islamic Ummah is clear and, God willing, it will continue this way until reaching the final victory.”

Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi delivered a speech in the meeting of the coordination council of seminary institutions in Qom on Sunday, October 15 during which he condemned the crimes of the usurper Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Gaza Strip and pointed out the reaction of Shia sources of emulation, scholars and seminaries to these crimes and said,” in condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, seminary institutions displayed good reactions and big consensus happened, big gatherings were created. We should thank all those who participated in this expression of sympathy.”

Wishing success and victory for the Islamic Resistance Front, the director of Iranian seminaries added,” The seminaries express their sympathy with the oppressed people of Palestine and we hope that this great victory achieved by the resistance and Palestine, which is truly a historical turning point, will be on the path of growth and prosperity; it will take the lead to the final point that the supreme leader of the revolution stated.”

Ayatollah Arafi further stated that the seminarians expect from all the leaders of all religions of the world, intellectuals, politicians and international institutions, to show solidarity and cooperation with the movement of resistance, and stated,” especially the Islamic governments are expected to abandon the process of normalizing relations with the occupying Zionist regime in order to take a clear position in political discussions; The position of the Islamic Ummah is clear and, God willing, it will continue this way until reaching final victory.”

Referring to the devastating earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan, Ayatollah Arafi said,” We really need to express sympathy and solidarity for the victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan, because the oppressed people of Afghanistan are always in great hardships, and this story was a double burden on them. We wish for the people of Afghanistan to be free from hardships, God Almighty will have mercy on the deceased and of course the duty of the Islamic Ummah and seminarians is to express sympathy and provide necessary help; Therefore, according to the regulations of the seminary headquarters, dealing with unexpected events, the service center also announced the bank account number for which assistance will be provided.

At the end, Ayatollah Arafi pointed to the final elections of the year and stated that it is an important stage of the revolution process and clarified,” naturally, the duty of all elites and social activists, as well as the duty of us seminarians in particular, is to encourage people to participate in a good percentage and let’s try to hold a magnificent election.”
