Indian Army Conducted Certification Drive for Students who have successfully completed one year computer course at Kupwara
These students from remote village of Awoora Kupwara have received their diploma certificates in computer application at Pathahirri Garrison Kupwara.
The students have completed this course at Peer Computer Institute Awoora Kupwara which is run by Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers and Digital Empowerment Foundation (NGO).
All these successful students have been awarded with the certificates in Computer Application.
This computer center was established by Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers in collaboration with Digital Empowerment Foundation which is a Mumbai based NGO with an aim to provide computer education to the students living in remote areas of Kupwara J&K.
Completion of this course will open opportunities for the successful students in the field of higher education as well as jobs.
The certification drive saw a participation of 20 students including boys and girls. CO Kupwara Terriers has distributed these certificates among the successful students. The Officer appreciated these students for the completion of the said course and assured them for every possible support in future also.
All the students and their parents have highly appreciated Indian Army for providing such quality computer education to the students living in remote village of Awoora Kupwara.(CNI)
