Palestine death toll in Gaza rises to 33,482: Ministry

Gaza : The Ministry of Health in Gaza has said that the death toll of Palestinians as a result of Israeli attacks has reached 33,482.

The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have killed 122 Palestinians and wounded 56, bringing the total death toll since the start of the conflict between Israel and Hamas to 33,482. The number of injured has reached 76,049.

Some victims are still under the rubble and on the streets as the Israeli army prevents ambulances and civil defense personnel from reaching them, Xinhua news agency reported.

Israel launched a retaliatory operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, through southern Israel, in response to a Hamas rampage that killed nearly 1,200 people and took more than 200 hostages.-
