Mokhber to continue Raeisi policies towards Palestine: Leader
On behalf of the state and people of Palestine, Ismail Haniyeh expressed his condolences to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the people of Iran for the loss of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and their companions in the tragic helicopter crash.
Following the tragic martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declared a 5-day mourning in Iran.
More than 40 high-ranking foreign delegations will visit Tehran on Wednesday to attend the farewell ceremony of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and the country’s late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, for his part, expressed his gratitude for the sympathy of the Palestinian people, especially the people of Gaza, and condoled the martyrdom of Haniyeh’s children in return.
Referring to the extraordinary Resistance of the people of Gaza which has rallied people in the world to support them, he said that no one would have thought that one day US students chant in favor of Palestine and raise its flag.
“No one would have believed that one day people in Japan hold demonstrations and chant in favor of Palestine in Persian,” he said.
Events would happen in the future regarding the Palestinian issue that seems unbelievable today, he noted.
Referring to the Quranic verses, the Leader added that God’s first promise about the Palestinian people has been fulfilled which is the victory of the people of Gaza.
They managed to dominate the large and powerful group of the US, NATO, the UK, and some other countries, he emphasized.
The Leader added that the second promise which is the annihilation of the Zionist regime can also be realized.
He stressed that Iran’s acting president Mohamamd Mokhber who is in charge of the executive affairs of the country according to the constitution will continue the policies and approaches of the late President Ebrahim Raeisi regarding Palestine with the same enthusiasm and spirit.
