Iran’s acting FM holds meeting with Lebanese prime minister

TEHRAN, June 03 :– Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani met and held talks with Lebanon’s prime minister in Beirut on Monday.

The top Iranian diplomat held a meeting with Najib Mikati after he held a meeting and a joint presser with his Lebanese counterpart earlier on Monday.

Bagheri Kani arrived in Beirut on Monday morning as his first official trip after being appointed for this role.

The top Iranian diplomat is scheduled to hold talks with the Arab country’s officials to discuss the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, especially the situation in Palestine.

This marks Bagheri Kani’s first visit since being appointed as acting foreign minister, succeeding Minister Amir-Abdollahian.
