Imam Khomeini’s Demise Commemorated in Moscow
This round table was held on Sunday evening as the final part of the ceremony of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s demise attended by Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Hujjat al-Islam Mehdi Bakhtavar, head of the Islamic Center of Moscow, and a group of cultural activists and Muslims from the region.

The head of the Central Mufti Department of Russia said in a speech at this round table, “We show our love to God by our actions and carrying out His orders. We know that there are people who have done great things for God’s religion, and in this context, we can rightly mention the Late Imam Khomeini.”
Mufti Anar Ramzanov added,” When we gather for such events, we commemorate great people who had a great impact on the history of mankind and this is an impact that will last until the Day of Judgment.”

This Russian Sunni religious scholar continued to say that participating in the commemoration ceremony of the Late Imam Khomeini means that we show God that we love those who have done important things in the way of God, His religion, Ahl al-Bayt and the Qur’an.
Expressing his sorrow that our brothers and sisters are being killed in Palestine, Mufti Ramazanov recalled Imam Khomeini’s (RA) guidelines on the subject of supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and naming the World Quds Day and noted that the legacy that the Imam Khomeini left behind, It showed well that the direction they set was correct and that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fighting the evil in the world.
