We The Kashmir Foundation and Al Saba Education Institution Organize Drug Abuse Awareness Program in Wachi, Shopian

Shopian  June 30 :–We  The Kashmir Foundation NGO, in collaboration with Al Saba Education Institution, organized a significant event on drug abuse awareness in Wachi, Shopian. The event aimed to educate the community, especially the youth, about the dangers and consequences of drug abuse.

The program saw the esteemed presence of SDPO Wachi, Mr. Sunil, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prominent social activists, including Dr. Touseef Bhat and Syed Aijaz Kashani, also attended and addressed the gathering. The event was further enriched by the participation of Mr. Sheikh Firdous Ali, Chairman of NGO Rehmatanlilalmeen Foundation, Mr. Sajad Shola, Chairman of NGO Smile Foundation, Miss Shaziya, Chairman of NGO Insaniyat, Miss Masrat, and Imran Ahmad.

SDPO Wachi, Mr. Sunil, highlighted the critical issue of drug abuse and its impact on society, urging the community to take collective responsibility in combating this menace. Dr. Touseef Bhat emphasized the need for awareness and education to prevent drug addiction among the youth. Syed Aijaz Kashani spoke about the role of social activism in addressing drug abuse, while Mr. Sheikh Firdous Ali stressed the importance of community involvement and support systems.The event was skillfully hosted by Hussain Zalpori, whose engaging presentation kept the audience attentive and involved throughout the program.In a significant gesture, Smile Foundation announced the adoption of six orphan students from the school, providing them with the necessary support for their education and well-being.
