71 Candidates file nominations in 07 Assembly Constituencies of Anantnag District

Anantnag : On the last day of filing, Nomination process concludes today on 27th of August 2024 for 07 Assembly Constituencies of District Anantnag a total number of Seventy One (71) Candidate from BJP, JKNC, JKPDP, JKINC, JK Apni Party, JKDPAP, JKANC, JKAIP and some Independent candidates also filed their nominations papers today in their respective RO’s office.

41-Dooru Assembly Constituency: Twelve(12) candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

42-Kokernag ST Assembly Constituency: Eleven( 11) candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

43-Anantnag West Assembly Constituency: Fourteen (14) candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

44-Anantnag Assembly Constituency: Twelve (12) candidates files their nominations papers today and One (01) candidate has filed his nomination earlier officially in the office of Returning Officer.

45-Srigufwara Bijbehara Assembly Constituency: Three(03) candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

Shangus Anantnag East Assembly Constituency: Thirteen(13)candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

47-Pahalgam Assembly Constituency: Six (06) candidates files their nominations papers officially in the office of Returning Officer.

Scrutiny for nomination papers shall take place in respective RO’s office on 28th of August 2024 and the last date of withdrawal is August 30th 2024.

Pertinent to mention here that, ECI has established 844 Polling Stations in these 07 Assembly Constituencies for which the polling day is scheduled for September 18 2024.
