Attack reported against US military base in eastern Syria
The US military base in the Koniko natural gas field, in the northeastern Syrian governorate of Deir Al Zawr has been reportedly attacked on Monday afternoon.
Local Syrian media reported on Monday afternoon American defense systems in the Koniko gas field in eastern Syria war activated to repel flying objects.
Some unnamed local sources announced that following the attack, US military drones were patrolling over the base to prevent possible attacks.
Some sources also told Lebanese Al-Mayadeen TV that the attack caused material damage, the extent of which was not said.
