Reservation Issue Important, Not Me: Aga Ruhullah
Altaf Bhukhari views others through the lens of his own experiences’
Srinagar : Member Parliament and Senior NC leader Aga Syed Ruhullah on Thursday said that for him the reservation issue is important over any other thing.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar after reviewing the progress of central projects and schemes, Aga Ruhullah said that personal ambitions and political gains should not overshadow the broader issue of ensuring equal opportunities for underprivileged communities.
He said that the focus should remain on safeguarding and implementing reservations effectively, as they are a crucial step toward social justice.
He added that for him the students and reservations are important and it is a big issue and everybody must raise their voice over it.
While reacting over the statement of Altaf Bhukhari, Aga Ruhullah said that he views others through the lens of his own experience as he himself is planted and thinks everybody is planted.
“It shows a complete disregard for people’s common sense when an MP, instead of directly talking to his party president to advocate for public demands, opts to write an open letter to him and stage protests against his own party leadership.
The days of such political gimmickry are long gone. People are intelligent enough to distinguish between genuine efforts and theatrical actions. Underestimating the intelligence of the people, which far exceeds your own, is both unwise and disrespectful.” Altaf Bhukhari had said in a post on ‘X’—(JKNS)
