Full-Dress Rehearsal Held at DPL Pulwama Ahead of Republic Day Celebrations

Pulwama, January 24: A full-dress rehearsal for the Republic Day celebrations was successfully conducted today at the District Police Lines (DPL), Pulwama. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Pulwama, Dr. S.M Ashraf, unfurled the tricolor and took the salute at the March-past.

The March-past featured contingents from various security agencies, including the CRPF, District Police, JKP Women’s Wing, IRP, JKAP, Home Guard, Commandant Forces, NCC volunteers and school children from diverse educational institutions across the district.

During his speech, the ADC highlighted the district’s remarkable developmental milestones and achievements, emphasizing the collective efforts of the administration and the public in fostering growth and progress.

Adding to the patriotic fervor, a variety of cultural programmes were presented, which captivated the audience. Students and artists from the region delivered soul-stirring patriotic songs and vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the district’s rich cultural heritage and patriotism.
