Medieval inquisition courts set up in 21st-century America : Iran
IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that the Zionist lobbies in America have set up medieval inquisition courts in 21st-century America.
“The exertion of pressure by the US Congress to oust the presidents of several prominent universities in the country on charges of spreading anti-Semitism, which followed on from the expansion of protests by the students of these universities against the massacre of the defenseless people of Palestine, unmistakably reveal that the Zionist lobbies in America have set up medieval inquisition courts in the 21st-century America to censor the crimes of the Israeli apartheid regime in Gaza,” Kanaani wrote on his X account on Sunday.
Some members of the US Congress have recently called for the dismissal of the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and Pennsylvania universities.
The formation of what has been introduced as “anti-Semitic feelings among students” has been one of the reasons for the pressure on these universities.
The death toll from the Israeli bloodshed in the Gaza Strip has risen to 17,700 on December 9, according to an announcement by the Health Ministry in the besieged Palestinian territory.
