BUDGAM, JANUARY 11:To create momentum and enhance the pace of enrollment of new voters in the voter list and to inculcate democratic values in the general public of the district, a SVEEP awareness programme was today organized by the DISTRICT NODAL OFFICER SVEEP ( CHIEF EDUCATION OFFICER BUDGAM) in collaboration with DISTRICT ELECTION OFFICE BUDGAM at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall, Budgam.
The awareness program was attended by General public PRI Members, Anganwadi Workers and Asha Workers
During the awareness programme, DLMTs Sr. District Level Master Trainers( senior lecturer) Mir Firdous Ahmad and Mr. Gowhar Rasool(teacher)delivered the lecture regarding importance of electoral registration and participation and shared the detailed schedule of the Revision timelines and important ways and means for the enrolment.
The detailed description of the different prescribed forms viz. 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D were also shared with the participants through demonstration. The same forms were also circulated among the participants.
SVEEP Nodel officer Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Qadri(chief education officer Budgam) and deputy Election officer Budgam Mr. Shakeel Ahmad emphasized that no voter shall be left out during on going registration process.
