15-day Ice Hockey training camp begins in Kargil
Kargil, Jan 27, 2023:
A 15-day basic Ice Hockey training camp 2023 for under-14 boys and girls organized by Zonal Physical Education Officer, Kargil has started at Khree Sultan Choo Ice Hockey Stadium for which more than 150 players have registered so far.
Mohammad Ibrahim Shoqi, I/C ZEPO Kargil said the coaches will impart training and basic skill of skating, puck control, shooting, passing and team play during the 15-day training.
He said the camp has received huge response and students from other zones have been enrolled and they have reached Kargil.
Pertinently, over the past few years, Ice hockey has become popular in Kargil district and youth from rural areas are also participating in the game with enthusiasm.
