Seminaries to Promote Imam Ali’s Teachings

IRAN – The member of Iran’s Assembly of Leadership Experts stated,” Imam Ali (PBUH) has characteristics that were appreciated by both his friends and enemies. There are many Quranic verses about the holy existence of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH). Some of the Sunni scholars also have narrations and wrote books in this context.”

Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, head of Qom Seminary Teachers’ Society was a keynote speaker at the unveiling ceremony of the series of works of the scholars of Lucknow during which he congratulated the birth anniversary of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) and said,” “The character of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) is very valuable and our students and seminary schools should try to promote this path and to better introduce it to the world.”

The secretary of the Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries further stated,” This matter exists even among Christians, and the tendency towards Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) is rampant among their scholars, other than George Jordac and Shibli Shamil. Therefore, in the way of defending Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) some people sacrificed their lives and some others stepped into the arena with their pen to defend the sanctity of the Imamate of Amir al-Momenin; Therefore, Islamic seminaries should make effort to talk about the Imamate and the continuation of its path, same way that the scholars of Lucknow addressed it.”
