Srinagar 27 October 2023: Rashmi Ranjan Swain, a senior IPS officer from the 1991 batch, is set to become the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir.
He is expected to assume office on October 31, succeeding Dilbag Singh, who retires on the same day as the longest-serving Police chief of J&K.
