Winter Essentials distributed among destitute, extremely poor families at Bandipora
BANDIPORA : Under winter relief program initiative, the District Administration Bandipora in collaboration with ELFA International today organised a distribution camp for destitute and extremely poor families at Mini Secretariat, here.
The distribution was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed and under the supervision of Additional District Development Commisioner Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak.
Relief items consisting of quilts, mattresses, pillows, blankets, socks, winter caps and hot water bottles were distributed among 50 extremely poor families in the first instance.
Besides others, the event was attended by ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi Pandit, Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq, Senior Vice President ELFA International Iftikhar Ahamd Mir Regional Coordinator ELFA International Sajad Ahmad Mir.
