Iran president condoles demise of Kuwaiti Emir

IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has extended condolences over the demise of the late Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

In a message on Saturday, the Iranian president condoled with the new Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the royal family of Kuwait, and the country’s government and nation over the demise of Sheikh Nawaf.

President Raisi prayed for the deceased Kuwaiti Emir to rest in peace, also calling upon the almighty God to bestow patience to his bereaved family.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian also extended a message condoling with the people and government of Kuwait.

Sheikh Nawaf passed away earlier today at the age of 86.
