Srinagar : A pivotal strategy review meeting was convened at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s office in S-1, Church Lane, Srinagar.

As the party gears up for a mega rally for the upcoming PM’s visit to the Kashmir Valley, the proceedings were chaired by BJP National General Secretary and Incharge Kashmir, Tarun Chugh.

The session was graced by the distinguished presence of Shri Ashok Koul, the General Secretary (Organisation), and Shri Sunil Sharma, General Secretary J&K, underscoring the paramount importance accorded to this consequential meeting.

Participating were senior leaders and core members from across the valley, including District Presidents, Senior Leaders, Prabharis, and Vistaraks, as well as members of the Media, Social Media, and IT departments.

Addressing the gathering, Tarun Chugh lauded the transformative impact of the visionary policies implemented by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji.

He articulated that the Prime Minister’s statecraft has catalyzed a paradigm shift, metamorphosing the once-troubled region from the throes of terrorism into a blossoming hub for tourism. He stated, “Kashmir’s transformation from terrorism to tourism indicates economic rejuvenation.” Chugh elaborated on the raft of infrastructural marvels and connectivity projects that have received major impetus under the watchful eye of the Modi regime.

Chugh exalted the Modi government’s commitment to equitable and inclusive development through its mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas.”

He asserted that welfare schemes spanning education, healthcare, housing, agriculture, and more have percolated to the last person without prejudice toward religion, region, or caste. From PM Awas Yojana creating new housing for the marginalized, to Ayushman Bharat safeguarding health, to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi uplifting farmers, every stratum of Indian society has reaped the dividends of such transformative initiatives.

In a profound call to action, Tarun Chugh appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to express their wholehearted gratitude to the Prime Minister through their resounding presence at the scheduled mega rally on 7th March 2024 at the iconic Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. This momentous gathering, he avowed, will serve as a powerful demonstration of the unwavering trust reposed in PM Modi’s leadership and his vision for the region’s comprehensive peace and development.

The BJP J&K review meeting witnessed rigorous deliberations and comprehensive strategy formulations to ensure the spectacular success of the upcoming rally. Plans were charted out to amplify public outreach through nukkad sabhas, door-to-door campaigns, social media blitzes, and media interfaces.

On-ground mobilization efforts will be spearheaded by the team of dedicated karyakartas, vistaraks, and veteran leaders to galvanize support cutting across all segments of the region’s polity.

Shri Ashok Koul echoed Chugh’s sentiments, underscoring that the Prime Minister’s visit to Kashmir and the planned rally will prove to be a momentous milestone. They emphasized that the turnaround story of Jammu and Kashmir, from being a hotbed of militancy and cross-border terrorism to now transitioning into a hub of innovation and progress, warrants historic participation by the awakened masses. Urging unity and unflinching support for the BJP’s mission, they affirmed that the party’s regional unit stands solidly united to usher in a new dawn of inclusive prosperity and human welfare in the paradise on earth.

As the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir embraces a new epoch of peace and prosperity under the Centre’s governance and people-centric policies, the Bharatiya Janata Party reaffirms its steadfast commitment to serving the aspirations of all sections of society in this paradisiacal realm. The upcoming PM’s mega rally is envisioned as a defining milestone in this transformative journey.
