Army Chief Celebrates Holi With Soldiers In Cold Desert, Says Wanted To Visit Siachen But Bad Weather Didn’t Allow, Pledges To Take Care Of Families, Children Of Soldiers, Ladakh Land Of Bravery And Bravery

Ladakh, March 24: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday lauded the armed forces for protecting the nation despite the bitter cold in Ladakh, saying, “Despite some untoward incidents happening on our borders at times, the nation is progressing, Credit goes to all of you. Your determination deserves all praise and applause. You are performing your duties despite the bitter cold in Ladakh. The nation owes you a lot,” Singh said as he celebrated Holi with the jawans in Ladakh. “Our country is progressing despite the fact that sometimes some untoward incidents happen on our borders. Our borders are vast and spread all over,” Singh said while addressing the armed forces after celebrating the festival.

The Defense Minister was supposed to visit Siachen, the highest battlefield in the world, but he could not go there due to bad weather. “I wanted to celebrate the festival of colors with the soldiers at Siachen but could not do so due to bad weather. I am determined that in the future, I will visit Siachen and meet the soldiers there who are protecting the nation. “They are enduring the bone-chilling cold,” he said.

Defense Minister was accompanied by Army Chief General Manoj Pandey. Congratulating the soldiers on Holi, he said that Ladakh is the land of Siachen, Galwan, Kargil and the pride of “India”. “Ladakh represents bravery and bravery,” he said. “It is truly a joy to celebrate the holy with the brave.”

He said that India is touching new heights of development as schools, hospitals, industries, temples, mosques and shops are flourishing. “All this was possible when you were here protecting the nation. Indian citizens sleep undisturbed,” Singh said.

He assured the soldiers that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Center is committed to take care of the soldiers’ families and children. Earlier, Singh exchanged colors with the soldiers and distributed sweets to them on the occasion of Holi festival.
