General Zorawar Singh’s birthday: LG lays flowers at his statue near Bahu Plaza, Jammu
Jammu : Remembering the great Dogra warrior and military strategist General Zorawar Singh, Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on his birth anniversary near Bahu Plaza here on Saturday. They paid homage to the statue by placing a wreath of flowers.
The LG placed floral wreath on the statue of General Zorawar Singh and remembered him as a great national hero.
The event was organized by Jammu and Kashmir X Services League at General Zorawar Singh Chowk near Bahu Plaza.
Speaking on the occasion, LG Sinha said, “General Zorawar Singh was a great national hero and remains a source of inspiration for people across the country.”
He said that the unparalleled courage, valor and dedication of one of the world’s greatest military commanders will continue to inspire generations.
