UDHAMPUR (J&K) : Senior Congress leader and star campaigner Raj Babbar on Saturday accused the BJP-led central government of doing grave injustice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said That now is the time to bring change through the ballot.

Babbar also criticized the government for launching the Agnipath military recruitment scheme, claiming that it ruined the future of the youth and shattered their dreams of joining the armed forces.

He assured that the Congress would scrap the scheme and resume regular recruitment drive after coming to power.

Former Union Minister and JKK AICC in-charge Bharat Singh Solanki, Pradesh Congress Committee President Waqar Rasool Wani, Lal Singh, National Panthers Party leader and former minister Harsh Dev Singh also addressed the rally.

Babbar said the Congress would provide relief to the youth, farmers, women and workers as guaranteed in its manifesto.
