Sir, since 2010, these employees have been eagerly awaiting the allocation of suitable housing, yet construction efforts have faltered, leaving many in precarious living conditions.

Sir, recently, a team of Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) and myself personally visited the construction site at uppper Zawan, Srinagar, to assess the progress.
To our dismay, we found the work still unfinished. While some buildings are nearing completion, essential tasks such as center fixing, electrification, boundary wall construction, and the establishment of inner roads and parking facilities remain pending.
Sir, furthermore, a significant portion of the proposed housing, including 13 buildings, remains to be constructed.
The financial burden imposed by exorbitant rental charges further exacerbates the plight of these employees, many of whom struggle to make ends meet due to the high cost of living. It is imperative that the government takes immediate action to expedite the construction process and ensure the provision of comprehensive facilities, including power supply, drinking water, well-maintained roads, a functional shopping complex, and adequate security measures.
Though glimpses of progress are visible with the completion of the grid station and nearly finished water tank, much remains to be done to fulfill the needs of PM package employees and their families. Sir, with your intervention and support, we believe that meaningful strides can be made towards resolving this pressing issue as quickly as possible and alleviating the hardships faced by our community and other employees.

We urge Government to prioritize this matter and allocate the necessary resources to swiftly address the housing shortage and infrastructure deficiencies at Zawan, in Srinagar, Kashmir. By doing so, you will not only fulfill a fundamental need of these employees but also provide a conducive environment for them to thrive and contribute effectively towards their duties.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. We eagerly anticipate your prompt action and remain hopeful for a positive resolution to our concerns.
Yours sincerely,
[ Kundan Kashmiri]
