LG Manoj Sinha Addresses National Seminar on Role of Academic-Driven Startups in J&K’s Economy
SRINAGAR : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the National Seminar on the ‘Role of Academic-driven Startups in Developing Economy of J&K UT’ (RASE-2024), emphasizing the importance of creating an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and mentorship for student entrepreneurs.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by empowering universities and colleges to nurture talent and support the creation of impactful startups. Lt. Governor Sinha highlighted startups’ potential to generate employment, drive profit, and transform J&K’s economy.
He underscored the importance of a “problem-first” approach, encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs to identify and address critical needs to accelerate development and inspire young students.
