Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir – In a powerful display of faith and unity, an estimated 50 thousand devotees congregated in Chinabal (Baramulla) to commemorate the 25th Muharram Jaloos, dedicated to Imam Zainulabideen (AS). The Jaloos E Aza, organized by the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association, was led by its President, Imran Raza Ansari, and General Secretary, Abid Hussain Ansari.
The streets of Czenabal Baramulla were adorned with black flags and banners, reflecting the somber occasion of the 25th Muharram and the significance of Imam Zainulabideen (AS). Devotees from various walks of life, irrespective of age or gender, participated with unwavering devotion, forming a procession that stretched as far as the eye could see.
Imam Zainulabideen (AS), also known as Ali ibn Husayn, holds a special place in Islam as a survivor of the Battle of Karbala and an instrumental figure in carrying forward the teachings of his father, Imam Hussain (AS).
